Suitable for welding and overlaying aluminum-silicon alloy (Si less than 7%), also can be used for welding the following aluminium alloys : AlMgSi0.5、AlMgSi0.7、AlMgSi1、AlMg1SiCu、AlSi7Mg AlSi5Mg、AlSi6Cu4

The characteristics
|
Such welding wire, basically aluminum with 5% silicon added to it, can be used for welding 6061 and other 6000 series aluminum alloys, 3000 series, as well as casting aluminum. ER4043 Alloy Wire has advantages of higher fluidity and hot cracking resistance properties, but lack of ductility. Due to the higher silicon content, the color of weld seams is a little grey and after anodizing , it shows greyish- white, besides the weldment can be hardly anodized after welding.
